Botanical Name: Quercus alba and other species.

Source: Sustainably harvested from USA and Canadian native forests.

Air Drying Density: 735kg/m3

Characteristics: A traditional timber easily seen by the open vessels which give the species its character. The grain is pale yellowish to brown in colour. A strong and durable timber.

Traditional uses: Floors, construction, ship building and sporting goods. Furniture, casks, veneers and plywood.

Generation-4 Timber Top specification:
Oak is open-grained and requires filling with the Generation-4 finish.

The Generation-4 finish presents a dense but flexible, low maintainance finish which is waterproof, acid and heat resistant.
