Source: Native to England and Spain. NZ stock is from
fast growing farm woodlots.
Availability: Good supplies at present.
Air Drying Density: 550-600 kg/m3
Characteristics: A brown to pinkish hardwood, with
good finishing characteristics.
Traditional uses: Firewood, basework, some finishing
work and furniture.
Generation-4 Timber Top specification:
Dealbata has a good, dense, attractive grain suitable for
the Generation-4 finish.
The Generation-4 finish
presents a dense but flexible, low maintainance finish which
is waterproof, acid and heat resistant.
