Characteristics: Heartwood is golden/straw coloured.
Sapwood is much paler. Fine even texture, straight grained
and relatively hard.
Traditional Uses: Flooring, bench-tops, built-in furniture
and high quality joinery

Matai is a traditional timber commonly used to match existing
flooring. Good for curved work. This fine, dense timber combines
well with the Generation-4 finish.

presents a dense but flexible, low maintainance finish which
is waterproof, acid and heat resistant.
